A cross-section of people at the shopping mall
Residents in Owerri, South-east State of Imo are currently buzzing with the establishment of the popular shopping mall, Shoprite.
Residents of Imo state came out in their numbers on March 24th to look, and some to shop, at the newly opened Shoprite complex in the state.
Reports have it that the high presence of prospectitive customers doesn't translate to patronage as the people are mostly there for sight-seeing alone but a few could be seeing making purchases.
This development shares the same similiarity with the establishment of Shoprite mall in Ibadan, Oyo state in June, 2014 where residents stormed the complex to admire the beauty of the place rather than make transactions.
