Smuggler dies as ingested cocaine capsules burst in his stomach

An alleged drug trafficker, identified as Obiefuna Ndulue, 32, has lost his life after some capsules used to pack substance that proved positive to cocaine ruptured in his stomach.

Ndulue, a trader in Lagos who hails from Anambra State, was said to have slumped at the departure hall of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja while on his way to China via an Ethiopian airline.
Upon his collapse, he was rushed to a hospital within the facility where 55 wraps of cocaine, weighing 1.2 kilogrammes were evacuated from his stomach after he was stabilised.
