Obafemi Martins Has Been Recalled To Super Eagles


Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh, has recalled Obafemi Martins among 23 players he invited for the Super Eagles’ 2018 World Cup qualifying matches against Swaziland. 

Oliseh made the announcement The 31-year-old Seattle Sounders' had been out of the Super Eagles since 2013 when he played in a World Cup qualifier under Stephen Keshi.

He had talked about retiring from the national side after being ignored by the former coach who he claimed did not like him.


Sunday Oliseh who made Thursday afternoon also invited Arsenal’s Alex Iwobi, Feirense goalkeeper Dele Alampasu and Genk midfielder Wilfred Ndidi. See full list below;
