Nnamdi Kanu, the Director of Radio Biafra, has been granted bail from the custody of the Department of State Security.
Kanu was arrested at Golden Tulip Essential Hotel, Ikeja, on Saturday, after just returning from the United Kingdom.
Vanguard reports that the Leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) was granted bail in the sum of N2 million or with surety of N2 million with a civil servant of grade level 16.
Egechukwu Obetta, lawyer for IPOB, disclosed that Kanu was locked up in the same cell with terrorists.
