ISIS Group Hacks Chinese University, Wrote Arabic Message On School's Pages.See Photo


A website of Tsinghua University, China was allegedly hacked by an Islamic State supporter, the university’s campus newspaper Qingxin Times reported. The university’s academic portal was hacked around 10 p.m. on Sunday. Some pages were replaced with a picture of ISIS militants holding the group’s flag, along with the words “Allah is great. I don’t fear death. Sacrifice is my ultimate goal” written

Tsinghua shut down the website’s server instantly, to avoid further spreading of the pages.

According to the newspaper, the hacker left a trail of personal information on the website. The man who calls himself “Don-2” has reportedly hacked some other websites, which have no relation to either Tsinghua or China. No other websites of Tsinghua were found to be hacked. 

The newspaper said that the university is now investigating into the case.
