Most LAWMA workers responsible for the management of wastes in Lagos are known to be male but the agency seems set to balance the gender bias, as a woman refuse truck driver has been spotted.
A female worker was spotted driving a vehicle of the Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) around the metropolis recently.
Lagos residents were quite surprised at the sight of a woman on the wheels of the refuse disposal truck which is usually operated by the male workers.
