A whale beached in Britain struggles to survive
The race is on to save another sperm whale washed up on the British coast today as the spate of whales washing up on the North Sea coastlines continues...
A 30-tonne sperm whale was found washed up on the British coast, Hunstanton in Norfolk today.
Kate Dunbar, Hunstanton town councillor, said the whale is 'very much alive' but it is unlikely to stand much after getting stuck in shallow water, adding: 'It looks like the tide's on its way out'.
According to reports, at least 23 whales from the same pod have been washed up dead on the North Sea coastlines of Britain, Holland and German in the past month.
