A husband has been left shell-shocked after his wife he thought he buried two years ago appeared on a popular television program.
A husband has been given the fright of his life after news got around that his wife he buried two years ago turned up on national television. According to reports, the grieving husband had since buried the wife who was killed in a traffic accident but was left shocked when she appeared on a popular TV program.
The man living in Spain with family had no idea she was still alive and claims doctors told him she had died from her injuries, Dailystar reports. The men even held a funeral and called his family members who were in attendance during the period.
Interesting, the wife thought to be dead, turned up on a TV programme designed to reconnect loved ones who have lost contact over the years.
She phoned in claiming to have lost contact with her husband and even gave his name and address.
The man who was not watching the programme at the time was shocked when friends broke the news to him.
Abragh Mohamed, from Casablanca, Morocco, told a Spanish newspaper: "I did not know that my wife was still alive."
But, some people have asked what made the woman not to contact the husband for over two years.
Abragh claims he was told by doctors that she probably wouldn't survive and asked for him to pay a bill.
He then travelled for four hours back to his home and returned with the cash when, he alleges, he was told his wife had died.
Later he says he received a body already in a coffin which he took back to the small mountain town of Azilal, Morocco, for her burial.
